Our story
Two generations of Gandhinagar families have grown up with us
We opened in Sector 1/A, Gandhinagar twenty three years ago on a simple idea: a small child who feels safe will learn anything you put in front of them. Since then, more than two thousand children have had their very first school morning with us.
Today, parents who once sat in our circle time bring their own children through the same gate. That is the part we are proudest of.

Our mission
To make a child's first years of school safe, joyful and unhurried, so that every little one leaves us confident, curious and ready for big school.
Our vision
To stay the school Gandhinagar families trust with their youngest, generation after generation, and to keep earning that trust every single morning.
Every morning when the gates open and tiny feet run in, I am reminded why we started Smart Kids. Our promise to every parent is simple: your child will be safe, loved, and excited to come back tomorrow.
Settling in
The first week is the hard one, and we have done it two thousand times
Crying is normal
Almost every child cries on day one. Most have stopped by the third or fourth morning. Nothing has gone wrong.
Nobody is behind at two
The first days are for settling in, not for syllabus. Learning starts once your child stops watching the door.
The same face every morning
Same teacher, same corner, same order to the day. Repetition is what tells a small child they are safe.
You hear it from us first
If the morning was a hard one, you will know about it before you reach the gate at pick-up.
A day at Smart Kids
Nine to half past twelve, the way we spend it
Parents like knowing exactly how the morning unfolds. This is the whole of it, gate to gate.

Welcome Circle
Good-morning songs, hugs, attendance with a smile and a feelings check-in.
- 9:30 AM
Learning Time
Phonics, numbers and concepts through games, flashcards and hands-on activities.
- 10:30 AM
Snack and Hygiene Break
Healthy tiffin time with a hand-washing routine. Table manners made fun.
- 11:00 AM
Art, Music and Play
Painting, clay, dance, sand play and outdoor fun in our soft-floor play area.
- 12:00 PM
Story Circle
A magical story to wind down, with puppets, voices and lots of imagination.
- 12:30 PM
Goodbye and Safe Handover
Children handed over only to authorised guardians with ID verification.
