One school, all the way to big school

Three stages, one to four years. Each one picks up where the last left off, so starting school never feels like a jump.

    Moms & Toddlers

    The first mornings at school, done together. A parent stays in the room, so the place, the faces and the routine all become familiar long before your child is asked to manage them alone.

    Playgroup

    The first real drop-off. Two and a half hours of play doing serious work: hands, balance, words, and the confidence to be away from home and be fine.

    Nursery

    The year before big school. Letters, sounds and numbers arrive, but they arrive through games, stories and a pencil held the right way.

First goodbyes are never rushed

We run a gentle settling-in period where a parent can stay nearby until your child is ready, however many mornings that takes.

Common questions

Choosing a stage

The three we get asked most, before a parent has even seen the rooms.

Which stage is right for my child's age?

Moms & Toddlers is for 1 to 2 year olds, Playgroup for 2 to 3, and Nursery for 3 to 4. If your child sits right on a boundary, tell us and we will say honestly which room suits them better.

What are the timings?

Moms & Toddlers runs 9:00 to 10:30 AM, Playgroup 9:00 to 11:30 AM and Nursery 9:00 to 12:00 PM. The office is open Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

What if my child cries at drop-off?

Almost every child does in the first week, and most have stopped by the third or fourth morning. We run a gentle settling-in period where a parent can stay nearby until your child is ready, however many mornings that takes.
