Nursery

The year before big school. Letters, sounds and numbers arrive, but they arrive through games, stories and a pencil held the right way.

What a morning looks like

  • Phonics: sounds first, then blending, then reading small words
  • Pre-writing: patterns, strokes and letter formation
  • Numbers, shapes and sorting through hands-on material
  • Storytelling, show and tell, and creative art

Sessions run 9:00 – 12:00 PM, Monday to Saturday.

By the end of the year

  • Writes their own name and holds a pencil properly
  • Reads simple three letter words
  • Sits through an activity and follows a two-step instruction
  • Walks into big school on day one without crying

Every child arrives at these in their own time. Nobody is measured against anybody else.
